Post How To: Ordering spare or broken parts for Tamiya Kits

I found a great way to order broken or spare parts that you would need for a Tamiya Kit, It is fairly easy to order. There are 2 ways of ordering, from the TAMIYA CO., or Rainbow Ten Co. I have delt with Tamiya Co. and they have lagged alot on my order for a broken part i needed, so one of our fellow AF members (mech0t0) helped me out to order from Rainbow Ten, he has told me that they have great service and easy ordering process. Hope this helps everyone out.

NOTE: ORDERS FOR TAMIYA KITS ONLY

Credits to mech0t0! Thanx so much man...

Another great way is to use HLJ (www.hlj.com). You just send them an email quoting the kit number and description, the part tree or item part number (included in the instruction sheet of your kit), and your customer number. They send a confirmation email within 48 hours and everytime I have done it they usually source the parts in about a week or two and them send them to you. This is not just for Tamiya kits either. I have used them for Aoshima and Fujimi as well.

Check out http://www.hlj.com/faq/q41.html for more info

More of a where to than a how to...

R10 are great to deal with, but be aware they will not take responsibility for uninsured items that go missing in the post.
