Shifter hard to get out of park

Hey all I am a new owner of a 95 Z34 and I have one small Issue .. I am under the impression that there is a parking servo.. the car is hard to get out of park into drive reverse whatever.. once in gear all ok I am pressing the brake also .. I'm giving my thumb a workout... does anyone know wher this servo is and cost to replace????

Hi. Just wanted to let you know that I have the exact problem with my 98 Z34 and it is the park pin sticking. I have been stranded over this problem. If you shake the shifter before holding in button and push brake, mine usually goes. I had a Chevy Dealer tell me this, so I am sure he is correct. I have yet to have mine fixed though. I just use my Emergency break until I can get it fixed. Good luck!
