lol ive done heaps of reading and still cant figure out how to remove them...
i take out all the screws and deattach those pop in screws.. but the door panel hangs from the door handle which stays stiff and ive tired moving the panel and see if i can swing it off around the handle but the handle is pretty tight around the door panel... any ideas? |

I just removed the front door panel on my 92 accord and there is a screw that is accessible from where the door handle was (it's located at the bottom of the opening or just below the bottom of the opening). This screw attaches the arm rest to the door. You may also have to disconnect the wiring to the arm rest if you have power windows.

Re: removing front door panels on 1990 accord
If you have taken out all the screws including the arm rest one you've gotta pull or push whatever fits you better towards to front of the car since its like clipt, once thats done and its loose disconnect the little clip holding the bar and the wiring if you have power locks you should be good to take the panel off

the problem thy the door handle is still stuck after removing it's screw is that it's also cliped in, To remove slightly push in on the door handel assemebly and try and slide the assemebly forward, It should unhook and then you should be able to remove the door panel.
good luck. |
