Unknown switch(???)

What is the switch under my ashtray that is labled A/T (power and comfort settings) I have had the car since july and have no clue what it is for. Any ideas are much appreciated

my friend has a 92 pathfinder with a switch that says sport and comfort. it adjusts the suspension in his car. sport is stiff and you feel the road surface and comfort is more cushy but the body rolls more. it might be something similar.

you don't have your owners manual?

I found out today. It switches the powerband in the tranny from comfort(smooth shift) normal to power(hell of a boost) so thanks anyways. no I dont have a manual for it so it is all up to what I can get from chilton. take it easy BP2K2Max

That switch was unique to the gen3's. I never really used mine. Now my OD thumb switch is in use all the time on my 97. I can't remember if the 2003 I35 has Overdrive. i know it doesn't rev the same as mine.
