wont start

i recently was given a 96 pontiac grand prix by my wifes parents and as far as i know this has never happened before. i drove the car about 3 days after i got it.no when i go to start it it wont do anything. like when the car isnt all the way in park or something.its wierd because the car has started everytime untill now.ive checked fuses battry starter relays and circut breakers and im stumped. does anyone else have or ever had a problem like this with their pontiac. any suggestions would be gretly appreiciated.

if you have keyless entry you need to use it or the car wont start.
