Factory Auto Manual

Well, I recieved my factory shop manual yesterday that I orderd Sat via UPS. Paid $75 for the manual and a little over $8 for shipping but all I can say is this thing is brand new! It was rated as being in excellent condition on the web site but I would rate it as being brand new. Factoryautomanuals.com is a great place to do bussiness with!

Speaking of links, hows about these "Buy it Now"s on eBay:

1996, 1998, 1999 they ain't new but I like a little wear on mine anyway. Wish I would have found a Buy it Now option in this price range for 1995 manuals. The set I just purchased on eBay was bid up to $76.00. Oh well, had to have it right then. BTW a 1995 set was not available on factorymanuals.com at the time.

I wonder why they went to the 3 volume set in 98. Did they put extra info into them or did they just turn that big thick volume 2 into two seperate sections to make it easier to look through and handle.

You're welcome oldsdad. I see that as of 4:00 pm CDT Sun 12/07/03 the 1998 and 1999 factory service manuals are still available under the "Buy it Now" option. Same seller $39.99 plus $12.00 shipping. Like BKVic said, these years are the 3 volume sets. If I owned a 98 or 99 Aurora and didn't have the FSM, I'd be snatching one of these up in a heartbeat.

Can you tell I do sales work for a living?? LOL

Re: Factory Auto Manual

I just checked the website factoryautomanuals.com looking for a 2001 Aurora service manual set. What is the difference between the "preliminary editions" and the "final edition" in terms of content, anyone know? Is it worth the extra $40 for the final edition?

Re: Re: Factory Auto Manual

for my 99 it looks like there is a separate manual that covers the transmission repair.
