Re: WANTED!! LS vtec head

an ls vtec head is not something you can generally buy, you take a ls head and have it converted, my friend had it done to his integra and likes it alot, he had a local machine shop do it for him

Are you looking for a VTEC head thats been prebuilt for the LS/VTEC(done by a shop) conversion? maybe is that what you meant? Its just the SI and GSR/Type R VTEC heads. B16a and B18C and the B17, but good luck finding a B17, its pointless considering the abundance of B16s.

I was wondering about that. Theres some pretty complex stuff in there, youd have to take the whole thing apart, unless it was Honda... I need to see some proof.

See my whole problem with it is I don't think there is enough room for the VTEC vavletrain to fit. The two motors use 2 totally different rocker arm assemblies. I say he is full of BS or has something confused. My

It can be done as long as its done right which is why you should take it to a competent shop. You can't cut any corners when it comes to that.
