Hi folks,
I'm new to this forum, but I'm glad its here! Should anyone care to contribute, I had a few questions for you Chevy J Body folks. I just got a 1994 Cavi V6. I like it alot, but there are a few quirky things about it. First, there is a loud noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, and it's not the emission canister as in a previous thread. It must be a fuel pump right? Perhaps it's getting ready to fail? Also, is that engine an interference engine? Should I replace the timing belt (I'm assuming it HAS one), at any frequency? What other things should I keep an eye out for? I'm thinking of things that normally go wrong (if any) on that perticular engine or tranny (auto). Not regular preventative maintanance items. Thanks for all your help. I'm also looking to go very fast, but not until spring. |

Oh, and by the way, what's the difference between a '94 cavi with a V6 and a Z24? |

That's right. It is a 3.1 V6. I guess that's the difference then. Mine must be a regular RS.
