Question 2003 Tahoe Performance

Earlier this year we bought a brand new 2003 Tahoe Z71, with 285hp 5.3. I did not think much about how it performed until i drove my brother-in-law's 2002 suburban with 275hp 5.3. Anyway, his suburban smokes my tahoe. What is going on here? The only difference that I noticed is that his has a throttle cable from his foot feed to the intake, and mine is all electronic. For having 285hp, it sure does not feel like it when you mash the gas. Sometimes it even feel faster if you do not give it all the gas.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 2003 Tahoe Performance

is the suburban stock?

best way to determine a power problem is to dyno it (gtech if you must) or take it to an actual 1/4 track
