Re: Fuel pump

Fuel pump will cost you about 160 with a 1 year warrenty and 180 with lifetime warrent at any Autopart store. But if you dont know A LOT about cars I suggest you take it to someone to install for you. I just installed one on my camaro a few days ago and it was a b*tch. The funnel to the tank does not come off so you basically have to take out everything but the axel to get to it.

Talking

It cost about 150-160 for your car. w/my 2000 it runs about 350-400 for the pump. and I also have a "sending unit" I beleive is what it is called that goes w/the pump. don't know if I have to replace that as well or not. Yeah I will probaly take it to a shop I don't have all the tools to lower the axel to get to the tank. I read up on it sounds like a bitch to replace. Depending on cash I might do it myself

Re: Fuel pump

itll cost you a lot no matter what. if you take it to a shop itll cost cause of all the labor and if you do it yourself itll cost a lot your time.(pretty much the entire rear end comes down cause the pump is on top of the fuel tank, which is above the rear axle)
