Cool Finally, Pics of my new Rex w/ B18C swap

Ok, first of all I completely realize that my car is filthy is these pictures. But, it was bellow freezing and i didn't want to wash it. Plus my girlfriend was leaving with her digital camera lol. For those of you "oldtimers", you might remember my old 89 crx si "the bumblebee". Well, i sold that shell for $300 (no seats, no motor/trans, no front suspension). I bought my current 90 si for $200 w/ a working motor/trans and complete suspension. The only problem was that the kid ran into a curb with it. The passenger side wheels were crushed in at about 45 degree angles, and the car didn't roll.
Over the summer, we swapped the b16 out of my 89, swapped the seats, and other misc. interior stuff, and the complete front suspension (including both X-members). I got a rear trailing arm off an DA integra, and had a new rear X-member welded on for $800. Then everything was working good....but one night i slammed into a giant puddle and hydrolocked my b16 (like 2-3 months after we swapped it in lol...doh!). I had full coverage, and claimed flood damage (which it was...this wasn't insurance fraud dont worry lol). It was a comprehensive claim, and i have a zero dollar deductable. I ended up getting $2750, and that is how I got the JDM B18C, OBD1 conversion harness w/ chipped P28 ecu, Skunk2 intake manifold, and other stuff. So...sorry for the rant, and here's the pics:

The JDM B18C. It's still mated to my old Y1 trans. I have since cleaned up the intake, and ditched the yellow coupler. I am about to buy the JDM ITR valve cover w/ moon cut to expose my Skunk2 adjustable cam gears.

If you're using Place Racing or HASport mounts, you'll need to cut the under-webbing of the hood like this for the b18's and b16b's to clear. (it's 7mm taller)

Here's my cluster out of a 95 GSR. Wasn't too hard to do...just followed the instructions i got off of H-T. Everything works besides the High Beam indicator lol

Thanks for looking, leave any comments you want. SPECIAL THANKS GO OUT TO KHEM, JOSH, NICK, RYAN, UPHAM, CHARLIE, MIKE, AND SAMMY (MELLOWBOY) AND HIS FRIEND FOR HELPING DURING THE SWAP. AND TO MY GIRLFRIEND RACHEL FOR PUTTING UP WITH EVERYTHING

That is the link that i used. The only misinformation on that link is about the order of the 3 wires on the VSS plug. IT GOES SIGNAL POWER GROUND.....NOT POWER SIGNAL GROUND. Also, you need to splice the signal wire and run it to the VSS pin (B16 for nonOBD). You'll throw a check engine light (17) and VTEC wont engage. Very str8 forward...just make sure you get a WORKING electronic vss (from a 5 speed not auto).
Thanx for all the compliments guys. GTA, you can have my oem fogs, when i get the jdm stanley yellow ones lol...hopefully that'll come this summer w/ my ef8 SiR conversion.

thanx man. LOVE the b18. the torque around town was immediately noticeable (129 ft/lbs vs 111). The b16 (oem internals) no longer impressed me. The b18 has awesome torque for around town....and i almost nutted my pants when VTEC engaged the first time. It seriously sounds like a Type R...but way faster. I just need to get different cams...I'm hopefully picking up some CTR cams from Sammy soon. I got the motor from hmotorsonline. Steve is the shit and always hooks me up since i've bought so much from him (last b16 was from there too). The motor was off an automatic integra si vtec...so im losing 4hp off the cams. that will be remedied soon. It still hauls balls. lol I have 2 fucked B16 shortblocks sitting in my garage. one just has a snapped rod probably...i'll sell it to ya for $100.
