2001 grand prix

Hi there

I own a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and am having a hell of a time with it. It has about 65,000 miles, and lately while driving it has no pick up what so ever and is shifting but not until the rpms reach well over 3. Runs rough between 25-30 miles per hour and then smoothes out. Any clue to what the problem might be? The temp gauge seems to be higher than normal but with in normal limits though.

Re: 2001 grand prix

Does it feel like the tranny slipping or is it just hesitation? Could be a number of things. Maybe time to get a tune up, change plugs and wires, it could be a fuel delivery problem though to. Need more info.
