S.A.S. Bomex/Nismo 180 SX (8 pics)

Hi. This is one I'm going to take my time with as it was my first SAS Transkit. The color was custom-mixed by sight so I have no idea exactly how much of what went into it . Duplicolor auto paints were used and so were Testor's but that's about all I remember (no clearcoat yet) . The decals are from LauBak ; do a search and you can order some from him as well. The wheels so far are narrowed down to Advan RG 18", Nismo LM-GT4 (painted bronze), or bronze Advan Model 5's. I also have about 4 different wing choices but not sure about that yet either. Base kit is the Tamiya 180 SX. Thanks.

Lol! Thanks Ray ! Thanks all! I've had that kit for a while now and was scared of messing it up.

Ray: Did you get the kit yet?

slk320: your wheels went out 2 days ago.

Shorty: you're on your own for this one buddy!

That's a lovely clour you made. Should look even better with the clearcoat on although it's so gloosy no it almost doesn't need it

Looking good so far. The finish looks like it doesn't need a clear coat, just a polishing. I have also yet to stat on my SAS kits. I don't want to mess them up too. Can't wait to see it finished.

NICE paint. Looks silky smooth and the color is awesome, especially for this 180SX. I really like what you've done so far, keep it coming!!
