beetle or super beetle
what is the best to start out with if i am going to make a baja and what is the best for a drag car.

i would say a super beetle is better for the baja bug big engines more part out there and u can get one for cheap plus no one gives a shit about the supers too mony of them out there for a drag car i would say get a 67 and up but do not get a fuel injected one there r shity if u need more info write to me it should say my email

no offence, but supers are the worst for bajas.
limited suspension and front end mods make them a bad choice. if all you want to do is put a body kit on it and drive it around town, then anything will do. the standard beetle is almost always cheaper to work on the front end (body and susp/steering) |

if i do make a baja i will make a real one that i will go out and mud in and what not but i am leaning more twards a drag or something that will get around really quick.

I agree. The struts on the front suspension are the Archilles Heel of the superbeetle. They will not survive first contact with offroad.

how do you put coil overs with really long travel on a std. bug. do you have to buy a new front beam or something.
