How much did you make at your very first job?

When I was 14 years old I bagged groceries for a measily $4.35/hr in '93, just enough to buy a new super nintendo game every other week. What about you guys?

I was 16, working in the road building company where my dad works for summer. Hard job but outside, good sun tan and good work out. I was doing around 1400€ a month (1350$) cause I was doing long hours.

I was 15 and got paid 5.25 per hour at Winn-Dixie (supermarket) as a bagger, then 6.25 as a dairy stock clerk. That wonderful experience left me not wanting to shop there ever again.

I was 16 and got $5.10 or $5.15/hr(can't remember) at a Kolache shop. But I got free food and drinks while on the job and when I got off.

First job was when I was 14 working for on a hay farm/cow farm. 100+ degrees,8-10 hour days for 6/hr. no taxes. That job sucked. I know hay bales look light and fluffy, but after you load/unload and stack about 4 loads of 500-800 bales each you get a little tired. Oh and don't forget having to push the giant circular bales off of a moving trailer for the cows to eat...that was great.
