Angry Looking For Tach Input Wire

I HAVE BOUGHT A REMOTE START CAR ALARM AND THE ONLY PROBLEM i HAVE IS TRYING TO FIND THE ELUSIVE TACH IMPUT WIRE. i HAVE TRIED MY ALL DATA INTERNET BOOK BUT WHAT THEY REFFER ME TO DOES NOT GIVE ME A DIFFINITIVE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION. IF ANYONE CAN HELP i HAVE A 02 TACO PRERUNNER WITH 4 CYL 2WHEEL DRIVE. THE ALARM IS A REMOTE START FROM AUDIOVOX

On the 4 cyl it is at the data link connector to the right of the steering column. On the V6 it is at the igniter on the passenger fender, below the air filter box. Should be a light green/black stripped wire. I could send you a picture if needed.

Thank you for the info. I will look for the light green w/ black stripe wire. I had done some internet research and the only thing I keep hearing is that there is a black with orange striped wire near the ECM at pin 26. Get back to you soon, and Thank you once again.
