JCW flexible exhaust tubing

I saw this flexible exhaust tubing on the JCWhitney website and was wondering if anyone had used it for charge pipes on a turbo setup. If not do you think it would work cause it seems like it would be alot easier than getting manderal pipes bent and welded. Info appreciated.

no...that stuff is only good for dump tubes sorry. My suggestion is just to suck it up and spend the extra money on the mandrel bent piping. Just a lil advice, Meinkie's dumpsters are full of "mess up" bends....sometimes you can grab a pretty long piece that has some good bends but it was in the wrong place or what have you...mainly 2" but thats perfect for any HMT project sub 300whp

Peter Gibbons: I don't know. But I really don't like it and, uh, I'm not gonna go.
Joanna: So you're gonna quit?
Peter Gibbons: Uh-uh. Not really. I'm just gonna stop going.
Joanna: When did you decide all that?
Peter Gibbons: About an hour ago.
Joanna: So you're going to get another job?
Peter Gibbons: I don't think I'll like another job.
Joanna: Well what are you going to do about money? Bills?
Peter Gibbons: You know I never really liked paying bills, I don't think I'm going to do that either

Re: JCW flexible exhaust tubing

billa is on the correct path but you should still suck it up more and go with mandrel bends, if there is no coustom shop in your area like us "KLR" then you can look in the back of any turbo magazine and find a place or two that sell mandrel bends, you can purchase what you need and then have your local exhaust cut and weld them as needed. the press bends can cause problems with flow and turbulance.
