Question '99 Eclipse GS | Stall issues

Just picked up a manual GS to play around with and am encountering a few issues, the main one is as follows:

The car cranks up after 4-5 seconds of hesitation, so I replaced the battery. That fixed it but not for long, the car died at a red light. So I changed the alternator.

The car continues to hesitate on start ups and stalls ever so often especially at stops even after running for periods of time.

Any ideas on what the most common electrical problems are? I am hoping there is a simple, not so expensive solution.

Thanks.

For what it is worth, I have had the same problem with my '92. Noone ever wants to work on a turbo car it seems so I usually take mine to the dealership. I was told that I needed to replace my idle control sensor. I also had serious internal problems on the engine and I'm still in the process of getting the engine back. I would be surprised if the ICS was bad on a '99 though.
Good Luck
