i got mechanic to put my intake on

so i got a mechanic to put my inatke on .. he got it coming straight up out of my manifold looks weird.. it doesn;t go down like most intakes..and yes it is a cold air intake......it is on 2001 civic ex i don't know if this is how its supposed to go ..if it will change the performnace or what .... or i just got fucked...

On some of the Civics you don't have a choice since the throttle body points straight up.

Why didnt you put it on yourself. Thats the easiest mod in the world. Its the first mod if you do yourself makes you want every mod after that. How much he charge to put it in

yeah why didnt you do it yourself... it took my under an hour to do it with my friend and it was our first time ever putting an intake on.

i haven't had alot of time...only charged me 40 bucks which is nothing.... i got it back today and they only used one of the pipes...so i only have 1 pipe coming out my throtle body not 2 .... so is that goingto be the same as a short ram intake?......or will it still work the same.....as a cai..they said they had now where to hook the other pipe ..

lol what. They put half the intake on!? What did they do with the piece that points down, throw it in the trash. Take that piece and attach it yourself !

First of all I would go get my money back, or at least half. They only did half of the job. Second I would never take my car back their again, seeing as how they're not even competent enough to install a CAI.

Yeah I one of those people who was at first didn't want to work on my car myself. But I still put on my cai w/ a friend- it was really easy and you get a little familiar w/ the car while your working on it. $40 LOL...$40...huh...And if white racer is right and you are rich I would got a faster car...IMO. $40 Get a refund
