STi vs 5.0 mustang GT

My friend just bought a 04 STi (which is his first maunal car) and he want to race a 1988 mustang 5.0 GT, which has ford racing parts in his motor. They are both curious on what car will win. Can you all help me out thanks.

What parts does it have? How much power is it making? How heavy is it? What kind of tires? What kind of transmission? How good is the driver? What are the weather conditions?

In other words, go race and find out, but do so safely.

well the STi is bone stock and the mustang i will find out soon , but we were gonna have this set and done at a track

Yes I forgot to say that the 5.0 mustangs motor has been rebuilt will all for racing motorsports performance parts

the mustang has to have a decent amount of power to take a wrx. i have a 5.0 and i wont rev or make eyecontact with a sti owner lol theyll put me to shame
