1999 GMC Jimmy 4WD selector

All the 2/4 WD selector button lights are lite. I cannot select from 2 WD to 4 WD or etc. The vehicle is running OK in 2 WD. I can't find where the control module is located nor can I figure out how to solve this problem. Has anyone had this problem? HELP!

i replaced the switch in dash- it costs about 40.00, takes 5 minutes to replace yourself.
IT POPS OUT EASILY IF YOU GENTLY PUT A STRAIGHTENED PAPER CLIP BEHIND END AND PRY OUT- JUST SWAP THE WIRE TO NEW SWITCH AND REINSTALL

Thanks for the input. I haven't had a chance to replace the panel, but when I do I'll post the results.

I believe I have the same problem...'98 Jimmy. 4WD buttons blink after pressing 4HI or 4LO, and then go out. Seems to work fine in 2WD, but can't get 4WD to work properly. Seems like electrical problem. Would like to know if you have any luck after replacing the switch. I'll do same when I get fixed.

it solved my problem-It took 5 minutes to replace and the switch costs about 30-40.00. The switch just pops out- I used a straightened paper clip-I gently pried top out and it comes right out- I wire plugs into switch- it was easy.
