Just Wondering...

hey im kinda new to these forums and i just bought a brand new 2004 350z coupe AT. i know what your thinking...why did i get an automatic...well i never have learned how to drive a stick shift and i guess i really didnt want to learn...but anyway i was wondering if i wanted to get my z up to 300 or 400 hp with out using nitros how would i do it and whats a rough estimate on the price range. dont blame me for being a newbie we all started somewhere lol

well do you want 300hp or 400hp.....huge difference here

for 300 do some NA tune...
for 400 get the greedy turbo kit

ok 400 hp but how much do turbos run here...keep in mind im new to all this.

this is meant the nicest way possible....
if you do a little bit of searching online...i GUARENTEE that you will be able to find turbo kits and superchargers etc..and be able to find a general price range...

If you're new to the sport compact world maybe you should consider learning your car first before you go and modify it. The 350Z is an outstanding vehicle on its own. You've said it yourself your new to 'all this.' By that I'm assuming racing and/or the notion of modifications. If you can't handle the car in stock trim, you'll probably be overwhelmed with close to double the hp. Don't forget that going fast isn't what it's all about. Sure it's fun, but what good is it if you can't stop? What good is it if it doesn't respond quickly enough? Brake and suspension modifications are just as important to the overall feel and performance of the car than just going fast.
