Exclamation need help fuel problem with my civic.!

ok i just got a 92 civic dx hatch and i was driving it last week and the check engine light came on and the car just shut down i walked home and drove back in a truck with my dad and towed it home got home the mother &*(*&* cranked right up then died again now it wont start so i did as follows
did a full ignition system test with my multimeter and hayes manual then i went ahead and changed the feul filter just for good measure then i checked the feul pump as per the manual and its like brand new then i checked the relay for the pump and its all good then i checked while the switch was on and the injectors all get 11.4 volts thats good then i checked the vacume on my feul pressure regulator and it was goin bad so i got a new one and put it on and the dam car still wont start and it is a feul problem because it starts with starter fluid and dies when it runs out of it i need help has anyone had this problem before i think its one of two things 1 a bad relay 2 all the injectors went out at once and ive never heard of this happening before. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You startin shit!!! j/k

Did you check your o2 sensor? I'm not sure that it is entirely related to the fuel system

ok so if everything should be working and you tested all the mechanical aspects of it then whats next that it doesnt seem like youve done (Though i could be wrong)? fuel pressure....everything may seem to be working squeeky clean but something out of the ordinary obstructs the flow of fuel. fuel filter is out of the way so the next thing i would look at since its a 92 and its 2002 (sorta) is rust particles clogging the pump or the lines.

i have seen a few cars who dont drive a lot and dont keep thier tanks filled that develop rust particles thast lodge themselves in the pump and in the fuel lines. get a fuel pressure gauge and go to town at different points to see if your pressure is ok or what.

and maybe it could be a toasted ecu.

i mean you just have to isolate every fuel component and check them all to spec and physically view each piece (unless your sure)

but first i would check the fuel pressure at various points because if there is pressure all the way to the injectors then you know what needs to be done.

hope that helped some.

good luck

yeah, but a mixture running too rich or too lean would cause the car to idle erratically, which could cause the car to stall out after it started up. But I guess only a way way righ or way way lean mixture would do that.

ok fellas shes got a new feul pump pressure regulator feul filter and all pressure checks are fine i am finnaly going to just go ahead and pull it to the honda dealership in lake charles and tell em to give me a call when its running a mechanic told me that it could be a crank sensor or some other sensor but screw it ill let a professional do it ive done every thing i can do with my pressure meter and multimeter and my manual ill just pay the bill when its done then shell be runnin like new again (practically everything that counts is new anyways ) But im still ahead since i paid 1600 for it i think i deserve to have problems but at least itll all be new again that is a good place to build upon with a project car.
