My father just brought a used 96 Grand Am. He's had the car for about a week. Does anyone know why the low fluid light comes on when all the fluids are full? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: 1996 Grand Am Low Fluid???
I'll assume you are talking about the low coolant light being on. If the system runs low and you top off the tank the sensor gets trapped with air and it wil show a low coolant problem. Take a screwdriver using the handle smack the side of the coolant tank in the front and that will free the trapped air.
