Seems like this question was ignored in the “general” section so lets try here.
Can anyone be more through as to how resonance through a CAI can add HP gains? PS Was AF down for a while or is it that crazy eclips weve got down here ????????????

Read this regarding intake resonance from intake valve to throttle plate. http://www.iao.com/howthing/resonhtw.htm
Now having read that, how does the CAI use resonance to alter hp since it is before the throttle plate? Maybe by extending the plenum chamber volume when the throttle plate is wide open and damping the intake pulses more? (similar to the way that longer collectors on exhaust headers do) I could speculate further but it usually gets me into a hole I can't get out of.

As a column of air passes through a cylinder, the wave reflects at certain points. It will reflect when reaching a hard dead end. But it will also reflect when it reaches an open end as well.
As the waves reflect back and forth, the reflections can cancel each other or reinforce each other. When they reinforce each other, the column of air is given some extra umph getting through the cylinder and thus more air can pass through the cylinder (such as a CAI tube). This makes more power. The resonance effect is dependent upon rpm using various lengths and diameters. There is more involved than this, but that's the very basics.
