brakes problem

I have this problem with my brakes where when the brakes are pressed they make a hissing noise. They are also very weak. Any ideas?

Re: brakes problem

Most shops usually do free brake inspections and will give the price it would cost to fix it.

Re: brakes problem

Dont go to brake check. They will over over charge you. But they will tell you what you need.

Re: brakes problem

I have an 88 Formula and I replaced the rear end about 3 months ago. The emergency line does not fit up with the calipers that are on the new/used rear end that I put in. The rear end that I put in my car came out of an 89 RS. All the part numbers are the same for both cars and I can not figure out why they do not match up. The calipers that came on the new/used rear end are vented. <y old ones were not. Can someone please give me an idea of what to do?
