Re: Blower Switch
75% of the time its the blower motor under the hood...NAPA sells a very good replacement for around 65.00...PS you power window motors are the next thing to go...find one on EBAY, they start at 39.95....better the the 109.99 the dealer wants for the same made in mexico motor

Re: Blower Switch
Did you try the blower motor resistor? This controls your fan speeds. you can pull your current one and inspect it pretty easily.

Re: Blower Switch
if you have only high speed then maybe the blower resister is bad if you have first tow speeds then high speed relay maybe is bad if none of speeds works then maybe the blower is bad or no power to a/c control head,if no power then maybe you have blown fuse or bad ignition switch.
the blower resister located on right side above the blower.thanks michel |

Re: Blower Switch
I have already changed the relay above the blower, I don't get any speed unless I tap the relay, then it will work on high, but not lower speeds. If I shut the blower off I need to tap the relay again.

Re: Blower Switch
start by checking the circuit, beginning with the fusible link for any evidece of burnig, overheating, open fusible link or any other cause of intermittant operation.
the high settings of the blower circuit draw a good bit of current and have historically been discovered to become damaged by overheating of components in the circuit. |
