2000 malibu manual transmission conversion, need help??

I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu 3.1L V6; I was wondering if there was a way to change it to manual transmission, websites?, stores?, prices?...any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I know you can basically do it with any car. Im not sure what site it is, my buddy was gona do that and he has some sites, ill try to remember to ask and ill let yano where to find more info

I can tell you right now that it is a lot of work to convert a front-wheel drive auto to a manual. Just getting the tranny apart from the engine is bad enough, but installing a clutch system is a real pain in the neck. Good luck

you are the man ive been thinking about doing it for about a year now. the problem ive had is trying to find a tranny that will bolt staight up. if you could find that, thats your major problem, the clutch would be nothing special.

a few months ago, i called AAMCO for some help on tryin this...but got nothin but the guy flippin out on me bout emissions laws and how they would never do it....is there anyone out there who can help at all?
