finally happened... f-ing cops!!!!

well, it happened tonight
i got a god damn fix it ticket!!
i have blue bulbs in my fog lights and my corner lights and got pulled over for them tonight, its been 2 months with my corner lights and 2 weeks with my fog lights... its really gay that they pulled me over now.

i was nervous when the cop was behind me that i actually started driving faster, he put his lights on when i hit 60 km/h in a 40 zone so i thought he was gonna get me for speeding too but he didnt thank god

i got untill 4pm tuesday to switch my bulbs back over

Personally, Blue only works if it was neon underglow and other miscellaneous things like that. Plus yea, it is illegal in most places to have colors other than orange for side markers. You should get those changed man, so your less noticeable to the cops.

like they dont already notice me with the primer, loud exhaust and loud stereo lol, ah well, i changed em already, gonna get my money back for the shit and i think i might just get super bright lights... if it cant be blue, then i'll blind everyone, as long as its clear... its legal

I think it's bullshit... Why should turn signals be all one colour by law? So that people can recognise the colour, they say. But THEY do not realise how many drivers out there are colour blind... they do not give a shit what colour the signal is, as long as it flashes to the side the car is going to turn...

But you don't see them illegalising colourblind drivers now, do you...? Let the real danger continue to stay on the roads... just don't change the colour of your signals.

Ok now.. chances of being color blind is like 1/20 or something like that. The MAJORITY of drivers arent color blind, and even so, still cant see when people signal. So it has to be orange!

Getting upset over "the man" making you comply with the laws regarding the color of safety lights on your vehicle is awfully mature.

Be mad that they write tickets to generate revenue, rather than to make the streets safer. Be mad that they go after drug violations to seize property they can later auction off.

But being mad because you can't use nonstandard, and honestly unsafe, light colors?

The color blind example is ludicrous - should stop lights get rid of green, yellow, and red because of color blind people too? That'd be a real winner of an idea...

turn signals are orange or clear because the only vehicles that can have blue on the front are Snow Removal Vehicles... and you cant have red cuz flashing red is only for emergency vehicles...

Down here any blue lights (or flashing strobes in any color) on cars is illegal, because it is a police color. Automatic $350 fine. That's what I was told by the judge here when I went to court over my red lights I had. (I won my case)

The color blind example is fine, since stoplights are always in order from top to bottom, red, yellow, green color blind people can still see stop and go lights, they just recognize the position of the light rather than the color. Same goes for turn signals....the flashing means your turning, not the orange.
