I'm going to be running a T25 (2G Eclipse) turbo on a D16. At first I'm only going to be running it at 6 or 7lbs. But eventually when I get everything all set and running good, I'm planning on building the bottom end up and running more boost. I just don't want to buy a headgasket that would give me better compression for more boost and then low compression for 6-7lbs. What would be my best bet for what I'm looking to do? Thank you for any help.

Run a stock gasket or a stock thickness cometic gasket. You want to keep the space between the top of the piston and the cylinder head as close as possible to optimize quench, which prevents detonation.

boosted is on the right track, higher compression and less boost makes the same power as alittle more boost and lower compression, the thicker the gasket the higher the chances of blowing it out are. with the T25 there is no need to build the bottm end, that turbo is too small, if you go with a 14-b from a 1 gen it will support close to 250hp at the wheels, and can be upgraded to a 16g that will make close to 350 hp atw. then you will need a build
