Display for oil and gas mileage inside shows 0

On the inside above the radio there is the display that shows the oil life, gas, mileage, it shows 0 and just blinks. Is it disconnected, what should I do?

This part is called the Digital Information Center (aka DIC).

Have you tried reseting it?? Just hold down the reset button for a min or so. Sorry cant help more than that.

I have seen this before and the DIC feeds from the BCM and PCM via a serial link on 2 wires. You need the wiring diagram for that. It could be that the BCM and/or PCM are not transmiting information to the DIC(Means they are broken) or there is a loose wire. The safest way to get it working is taking a car to a GM dealer. You will need a scanner and specialized circuit testing tools to troubleshoot that.
