Installing 91 SE door handle
well i broke off the door handle on my girlfriends Prix (the door has been stuck alot lately, and the handle itself just finally let go). so i'm buying one on eBay and it should be here in a couple days but I was wondering how do i install one of these? I also have to transfer the lock solenoid so how do i do that? if anyone has a Helms or Chilton's and can scan the pages talking about this I would greatly appreciate it. Either post here, PM me, or e-mail me

Re: Installing 91 SE door handle
if it is a coupe like my Z-34(93) then is easy you will have 2 bolts that hold the handle to the car and a clip that will hold the key cylinder in place. When you get the new one you will see how easy it is to replace the cylinder on the new one.
Then attach the lock rods that come from the door on the new one. If it a sedan then you will have to take out the inner skirt and work your way in the door to get off the old handle |
