HELP! how to change air filter for 1999 neon
Today I wanted to change the air filter for my 1999 neon then I found out the cover was impossible to open. I think I almost broke the 2 clips on the cover. Maybe I tried the wrong way. Can someone help me?? thanx

There should be 2 or 3 metal clips holding the cover on. Use a flat-head screwdriver and just pop the clips off. Replace the air filter and push the clips back on with your fingers. Double check to make sure there are no bolts or screws holding the cover on. Some models had a single bolt on the backside. I think it was a 10mm bolt.
