Dont Laugh: Zip Zaps? best mini??

From reading these forums I can see you guys are serious RC peeps, and I am not so please dont scoff at me too much for my miniscule ambitions...

That being said, last year me and my brothers had a blast all Christmas day long with those cheap little $10 minis on the pool table. We were looking to step it up this year MAINLY because all our cheap $10 minis BROKE!

I stumbled upon the $24.99 ZipZaps Se's and about had a cow because I did not know that there were MINIS that were upgradeable and customizable.

((THE WIVES SAY NO TO XMODS FOR NOW--and we cant blame them since our average RC sessions is ONCE every 365 days))

SO-- We are looking at all getting the ZIP ZAPS, but at $25 a shot, I thought I would ask some EXPERTS (you guys) if there was a better MINI that could be upgraded and stuff like that. --The upgrades and customization just makes our mouths water since we DREAM of EMBARRASING and RIDICULING each other by being the one to create the DOMINANT VEHICLE.

so is the ZipZap what I want or is there another mini out there?

Thanks ya' all !
tvance.

zipzaps? those are not that good. Consider the following:

Toys R Us super slicks! Gotta love em.

They are the absolute most fastest mini rc out there. A giant step towards the right direction. These cars have got everything right. And theyre cheap! So get one and enjoy!

the problem with those -- 2 frequencies

ZIPZAPS have 6 frequencies -- big plus when you wanna race w/ friends

Get Super Slicks and the Tuner Kit. The 22,000 motor is a must.

I bought my little brother one earlier today and now I want one for myself.

Those things are not only detailed and have lots of parts but they are FAAAAAAAAASSTTT!!

while i havent tried them b4, i have a Bit Char-G and a DigiQ, no hop ups on the Bit yet so its pretty damn slow, but the DigiQ is one fast mofo, and its friggin small, i also have a Mini Z but i dunt think it qualifies as a "mini" RC
