rear right suspension noise....???

got a 97 honda prelude..with Tokico 5 way adjustable shock and ground control coilover..

the problem is that i have this ka-clunk noise on my rear right wheel after i got hit there....this truck hit me smack on the back but just to the right side. Anyway after the car got fix...the ka-clunk noise show up. Have just change the old tokico shock with the same one....but the noise still there. thought it was the shock..but it is not. check all the bushing...but they look good... any word of advise?

Thank you

Re: rear right suspension noise....???

that may be the infamous shock knock. tons of people have had that problem, particularly after lowering their car. hard to explain how to fix without pics but if it's what i'm thinkin, it's a common problem among preludes. just a pain in the ass and annoying as hell. i'm not gonna bother trying to explain coz all i'll do is confuse you. but at least you know what it could be. go check it out
