Starter CRX

Hello.What is the best 2nd gen CRX for a newbie to start out with.Little money so money is an issue.Need to be able to make it into AWD and have access to cheap parts.Need any and all info on engine swaps for that year if they are all different.

Get an hf. They have slow motors, but they are the lightest crx and you dont have to do a mpfi swap.

I'm going with the CRX HF because I found one for $100.Had a blown engine, but hey $100.I was going to swap an engine any ways.As for the
AWD I found this site with the parts for it. I am not I am unique.I know this has been asked before, but which is the best engine type for my car?

how are you going to make your crx an AWD? What site are you looking at? Ive only seen one crx AWD and i dont think you can do the same on a low budget.

You are right the AWD system is expensive, but me and my friend are going 50/50 on it.I'm looking at www.carpartxchange.com for this.We're helping each other with our cars, he's got brains I've got brawn(?).As soon as I get this I'm going to look for a really good engine so if any one has any thoughts give me them.
