96 E300D stalls before speeding up

My 96 E300D diesel has started to stall or pause before accelerating. The sometimes happens when standing in an intersection waiting to make a left turn. When I step on the accelerator there sometime is a pause or stall before reving up. No engine lights are on and I've fuel from different stations. No manuals seem to be available for this model. If anyone knows when to get a repair manual or CD let me know. Otherwise the can is running great. Just this one problem.

try a change of fuel filter,if no go, could be m.a.f. best to get it code read if not filter.

Thanks for your response. I'll try thr filter change. As for the code , there are none. I had that checked at the dealer.
