Just wanted to get some opions on which of these brush guards to get. This one from smittybilt......

To add a bit more info, Bluztraveler had an incident with his "guard" that I witnissed. Basically, he had a bumper level impact that normally would have only damaged the bumper. What happened instead was that the "guard" took the impact and pushed in not only the bumper, but also the hood and the left side fender, pushing the fender into the door. It was NOT a pretty picture and resulted in 5x or more the damage. Keep in mind too that the "guards" hang down below the bumper, putting them in harm's way.
Anyway, if you want it for looks, it's up to you whether or not you want to take the risk associated with them. If you are going to be doing any offroading it is definately not a good idea.

If your main concern is looks and your willing to risk the extra damage caused if you actually hit somthing Id go with the aries. It just looks better on the x.
