Mercury Sable/Taurus paint code location?
The wimmen in my household have a 97 Taurus and a 98 Sable. One of my new honeydo's is to touch up some scratches. Where is the paint code and key to deciphering it? Found the VIN, found the specs and the assorted codes inside the driver door pillar---is the code contained in there somewhere?
they're both the basic Taurus/Sable red from 96 on---I think the basic---not sure what the basic is-- codeless
