Now the GSX and Lancer don't have the same engines. They are both a 2.0L inline turbo and intercooled 4 but there are quite a few technical differences. They lancer has different intake manifold and cyl head. It also has a 16g turbo instead of the t25 in the gsx. Get your facts straight shithead.:finger:

Well not to bash the 3rd generation Eclipses, they're good cars, and the GT's are even pretty quick. My problem with them is that more than anything they were a letdown. If you look at Mitsubishi's history of sports car the 3rd Eclipse isn't anywhere near the top of the list. :alien2:

I don´t get it
If you mean History of Sports Cars because of performance certainly is the 3000Gt in the top I think, because the Eclipse is more like an everyday sports car to drive.

To tell you the truth dude. the only fast 3000GT's are the VR4s, I've taken SL's in my stock 96 GST. not to be a dick or anything, but stock for stock, the only real top of the line mitsu sports cars are the Eclipse GST,GSX, and the 3000GT VR4. Other cars are quick, but not fast like those listed above. PS. 3rd Gen GT's are s.l.o.w. not quick at all.. I'm pretty sure a GS, or an RS would keep up with them.

Definition: 3KGTVR-4, GS-T, GSX, Evo series, hell even the turbo'd mirages were more interesting than the 3rd gen.

Wait a minute, wich one is the third generation?? I think is the last one right? (2001) cause before the current model there was no GT versions, just the RS (shouldn´t never existed, it ruined the reputation a bit), GS , GSX and GSX-T right?

There is no EVO VII in the US. We have a plain jane Lancer. The EVO is the awd turbocharged Lancer. And the evo looks a lot better than that thing at the dealerships here in the states.
