1993 Escort GT running problem

Alright this is what wrong with my car. When i stop at a stop light the car would sputter and stall out. But then it wouldnt start, so i pushed it off the road and checked my fuse box where i noticed my ENGINE fuse was out a bit. I pushed it back in all the way and it started right up and i got on my way, but later that night it did it again at a stop light but it kept running long enough for me to pull into a parking lot where it died again but it had full power just no start, then the furl cut-out light came on i went to the swich which was down, so i popped it up and pushed it down again and it started. i made it home but i died when i stopped in my driveway. i did remove the radio fuse because there is no radio in the car right now and bought a new battery 2 days ago other then that i havent done anything to the car. if anyone has an idea of whats wrong msg me back , Thanks
