dash removal - cd player install

How do I remove the dash components to install a new cd player without tearing anything up ??

well i dont know what year truck ya got....but i got a 2002 and all you do is pull off the dash.....there are just clips hoplding on the dash so just pullo..then the radio is hella easy to get to..

put your shifter on gear one and yank it out

I have a 98, are you shure you just pull it out. One more thing, half of the radio and a/c lights are out. Is there anything that I can do about this??

I have done this numerous times. As far as the 98, it removes the same way, put your truck in 1st gear and set the park brake. I also tilted the wheel down as far as possible when I've installed them before, seems to make it easier. For the lights, the radio, you'd be better off to let an electronic shop do it, but for the AC, pull out the ac control box and you should see some little caps on the back that the bulbs fit in.
