88 wrangler 4.0 will turn over but not start

I have an 88 wrangler and was four wheeling through some mud and puddles when I hit a lake. I went into a river bed in 2wd and got stuck then put it in 4wd and backed out. I proceeded to go through in 4wd high and made it all the way to the point that it stalled out back half in the river. The depth was about 3ft.and I must have gone in too fast b/c I drenched my air filter and the whole engine bay was wet. I got towed out and back to the house and checked spark from the coil and the plugs and had it however weak it was. I checked the distributor and it was dry. I took the plugs out and turned it over and no water came out. I took the throttle body cover off and it seemed to have some water in it so I vacumed it out and dried it out then turned it over and fuel was pumped into the bowl, but did not start just turned over. I have checked the coil, ignition control module, and crankshaft position sensor. None of these worked with new units so I took them out. I am thinking of swapping this for a v6 but would like to get this running for the time being. Please give me some help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
