Turn Signals Not Working
My Turn signals stopped working along with the rear bumper side marker light on the passenger side and the hazard lights. All of these don't work. I was wondering if it's my fuses or something else causing these not to work.

Also, the turn signal bulbs are still good because they light up when I disable/enable the factory alarm system.

Where is the flasher relay - how do I get to it? My wife's Beetle has a similar problem. The turn signals & flasher speed up, slow down, stop - very erratic.

Re: Turn Signals Not Working
you can find it simply by turning ignition on,operating flasher, and listening for the clicking of the relay.

location of flasher relay
Can someone who has replaced their flasher tell me where it is located?
I've replaced a couple on Fords before but never a VW. It's a friends car so I haven't been "under the hood" much. Is it located under the dashboard (access from driver's floor area? Thanks. _Mike |

The relay is the actual switch itsself. You have to replace the switch.
