Fuse, fuse box problems
Does anyone know what do do when a fuse won't stay in the fuse box, therefore not allowing something to work. Does the whole fuse box have to be replaced or rebuliilt. How much will that cost?

Re: Fuse, fuse box problems
You could connect wire leads to terminals and install an inline fuse.

Re: Fuse, fuse box problems
whoa, all you have to do, is pull the terminals from the back of the fuse box, and adjust the terminals so they are a tight fit again, sounds like someone put in a test light probe, or an over sized fuse in that spot and stretched out the terminals. all you have to do is readjust them and should work fine. if you dont have a terminal removal tool, a very VERY small flat head scrwedriver, like a watch repair mans screwdriver, like tiny, will work. push it in from the front, there should be a place you can see where it will fit, your not putting it IN the terminal, but under it, to release a metal spring clip retainer, and pull the terminal from the back of the fuse box. then adjust the terminal so its tight again, and push it back in, should click into place. then your fuse should go in nice and firm. also, make sure you are using the right kind of fuse, dont mean to call you stupid, but ive seen much worse from trained technitions. so i thought id throw it out there as a possibility.
