1979 Pontiac Trans Am

all right guys....1979 gold TA, refurbished interior(camel), new 301 crate motor, rebuilt THM350, new headers, header back exhaust, AFB carter racing 650cfm 4bbl. carb, new flex fan (hey not much but i'm tryin to remember everything), new carter street/strip fuel pump, lunati street/strip cam, lunati hydraulic lifters, crane valve springs, also have extra set of heads w/ 5-angle valve job (you can havem free of charge, guess i won't have a use for them). Also has new coolant temp, voltometer, and oil pressure guages. body is very straight, visible body damage is easily repaired (dent in right rear quarter and 3 dime size rust holes under right side door). Also has original gold honey comb style wheels. If someone decides to buy for sure I can fix these as a "courtesy thank you" i guess. All in all pretty straight car, but not great to drive all the way across the county to attend college. Easy on gas if ya keep your foot outta the hole. For the race enthusiast in some people I've also got a 455cid motor and THM400 tranny I'd be willing to sell with or without the car. $2,000 for car and $750 for tranny/engine combo. Oh, the engine came out of a '74 TA. Thnx for the time guys.

Knoxville, TN but i'm willing to drive where you live provided it's not too far away (also it may be a day or 2 b/c the shift linkage broke, so i'm gonna replace it) i noticed you lived in ohio, which may not be too far since i used to drive to SoCal all the time with my dad.
