Question Thinking of buying a '96 Dodge Caravan... Good choice?

I'm new to this forum, but I looked around a bit before joining and was very impressed with the willingness of many of the members to help out their fellow man! I'm looking at a couple of 1996 Dodge Grand Caravans with the intentions of buying one. I've already done some research on recalls and looked at some of the problems with them that are mentioned in this forum. I would sure appreciate any feedback from current or past owners of 1996-1999 Caravans or Voyagers to give me a "nudge" in the right direction. One has the 3.0L V6 and the other has a 3.8L. There is one more with a 3.3L V6 that I might consider also. All have automatic transmissions and are Loaded to the Hilt! Any tips on what to look for, or stay away from would be greatly appreciated! I look forward to returning to this forum in the future, both to receive help and to give help when I can! I have three small children so I really do need a minivan with double sliding doors, but it doesn't have to be a Chrysler product even though they seem to be the most plentiful. There's just so many things to consider besides the price and other obvious things... ... I thought maybe I could benefit from the experiences of others. Thanks in advance!!

Make sure that it has the FACTORY towing package. If it does not have teh factory towing package, be prepared to replace teh transaxle between 60,000 and 100,000 miles, especially if you plan on towing anything. Take it from me though my friend's mom has a 95 town and country with the 3.8L, and that thing will stomp all the little ricers around town
