Pontiac 400 engine for sale

I have a pontiac 400 engine and auto tranny for sale. Does not have a carb. Does have 4 seperate stock intakes that came with it. 3 of them are 2bbl and 1 is 4bbl. It was pulled from a '72 Firebird. Not sure what kind. The guy I got it from said it was pulled from a Trans Am. He told me the motor and tranny were working fine at the time he pulled it. The car was wrecked. I was going to use it for a project car but decided not to. This would be a good engine to rebuild. I am located in the Baltimore, Maryland area. If you are interested you would have to make arrangement with me to pick it up or if you can make arrangements with a shipping company to pick it up. Let me know if anyone is interested. TH400 transmission with BOP bellhouseing? if so you might have that tranny sold.

Actually I am going to put the whole thing on ebay. if you like when I list on there i can send you the item number. how can i tell what kind of tranny it is tho so i can let you know. I was hoping to sell the whole thing at once.

if its assembled already it has to be a BOP bellhousing... if its apart then look to see if the trannt bell has a peak at the top or a little valley/flat top. valley means BOP, go ahead and let me know the number when your ready on ebay

what casting #'s are the heads, i'll be glad to take them off your hands.
