swapping mitsubishi engines
ok i wanted to know what complications i would run into if i were to swap a gto twin turbo engine with a base model 94 engine......the engines are basiclly from the same car....and they are basiclly the same size....so what would i run into that maybe a problem?

The engine is not the problem, it should fit fine, but the Tranny is another story. The base is a front drive setup where as the VR4 is AWD. You would have to convert your entire driveline to AWD. A front drive VR4 would basicaly suck ass, you would never get traction. Plus the gear ratio in the base model tranny is different than the VR4. You would never get the acceleration or top speed to be worth it. If you are gonna do that swap you have to go all the way. Driveline and all.

well ok....a twin turbo trim gto engine will not work.....but what about the mr gto engine.....will that work????? considering it does have all wheel drive and what not.....would it have any problems fitting in??????
