FC intake mod
Is there a cold air intake that will fit the 86 gxl 2+2 that will not cause the engine to freze? I can only find bigger air filters but no complete intake systems. Any sugestions?

you really should look at rx7club.com and thier forum it has a section dedicated to the FC's and all the mods.
CAI's do not cause engines to freeze I have no idea what gave you that idea. They just pull cooler air from outside the engine compartment. If a CAI froze an engine just imagine what an intercooler would do....BRRRRRR
